Going Out of My Comfort Zone
Lead photographer Beatrice here, I hope all of you wonderful ladies are doing well in 2025. This year already has me feeling a bit chaotic and anxious, but I always go back to what makes me feel amazing, taking photos of badass everyday women. I wanted to share with you one of my clients that I shot in my Florida photo studio recently. She was so amazing to work with and we had an absolute blast. “Hi. So my name is Antoinette. I actually did a photoshoot with Beatrice a few months ago and it was phenomenal. I was on a journey of self-discovery, and I had never done a photoshoot before. It's totally out of my comfort zone, but I decided to say yes and try something new. And Beatrice made me feel incredibly comfortable.
She walked me through everything. She complimented me a lot, which obviously fuels my spirit a little bit and made me feel more comfortable. But she's just really easy to get along with. Super professional, charismatic. Personable. It was a great experience for me, especially for someone doing it for the first time.
I, on a whim, decided to do, like, an underwater shoot. And oddly enough, it turned out way better than my boudoir shoot. Which is what I really went for and what I was really looking forward to. But I was really impressed with the underwater shoot. Like I said, I'm really fond of water. Water wasn't really anything that I was scared of, but being with Beatrice made it an even better experience because she again walked me through everything, made me feel really comfortable, encouraged me throughout the entire thing, gave me breaks like constantly checked in with me.
It was really all about me and what I was experiencing and what I was getting from it. And there was nothing negative that I got from it. I would say that if it's something that you're really thinking of, just do it. You will not regret it. It was great. It turned out to be something that I would absolutely recommend to someone else, something that I'm really proud of, and I cannot wait to share the results with the people, I really cannot.”
